Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Protecting the confidentiality and privacy of the information entrusted to us is a core obligation. We generally collect only the personal information that is voluntarily shared with us, so that we can provide the products, services, and support you're looking for. This policy explains what we collect, how it's processed and shared, how long we retain it, and how you can reach us with any privacy concerns.

We act as a Data Controller when we decide how and why your personal data is processed, and as a Data Processor when we process personal data on behalf of another controller. Our data handling practices are reviewed regularly to stay aligned with applicable privacy laws.

Why We Collect Your Information

  • To process account and distributor registration
  • To complete KYC verification
  • To dispatch and deliver products
  • To calculate and issue commissions

Information We Collect

We may collect identifying details — such as your name, guardian/spouse name, gender, email address, mailing address, and phone number — when you browse, register, place an order, fill out a form, subscribe to updates, or otherwise interact with our website. You're welcome to browse anonymously; however, certain activities (like completing KYC) will require this information.

Visitors

You can browse our website without providing any personally identifiable information. If you choose to register as an Independent Distributor or place an order, the details you provide (name, address, email, phone number) may be shared with a registered Distributor to help process your registration or order. We may also retain your contact details to assist you more effectively if you reach out again.

Ordering

When you place an order — online or at a Franchisee Store — we collect details such as your name, contact information, order details, and payment/transaction information to process and deliver your order. Relevant order details may be shared with our shipping partners solely to complete delivery.

Payments

Payment details (debit/credit card, net banking, etc.) are used only to process your order and are not stored on our website. This information is transmitted securely to the relevant bank; we retain only the transaction reference number and amount paid.

Surveys & Promotions

You may choose to share information to take part in surveys, polls, or questionnaires. We use this to improve our products and services, and may also use it to send marketing or promotional communication. You can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by writing to us at privacy@eraway.in.

Non-Personal Information

We may also collect non-identifying technical information whenever you interact with our website, such as browser type, device type, operating system, and internet service provider.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and, at times, to remember information about your visit. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they're being set — note that doing so may affect how parts of the website function.

How We Protect Your Information

We follow reasonable data collection, storage, and security practices designed to guard against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information — including your username, password, and transaction data.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at, or intended for, individuals under the age of 18 (21 in the case of Maharashtra). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we become aware that we have, we will delete it promptly.

  • Any other party you've specifically instructed us to share your data with

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct any inaccuracies. We may verify your identity before fulfilling such a request. You also have the right to object to our processing of your data where we're no longer entitled to use it, and — depending on the circumstances — the right to request deletion, restrict processing, or obtain a copy of your data in electronic form.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacy@eraway.in, and we'll make reasonable efforts to respond in line with applicable law.

Data Security & Retention

We maintain reasonable security policies to protect your personal information against unauthorised loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction, and limit access to those who need it. While we take these protections seriously, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide our services, stay in touch with you, and meet our legal, regulatory, and other legitimate business obligations.
